Hesham is a policy advisor, trainer, and published scholar specialised in institutional reform, change management, and strategic planning. He led consultancy projects with international development organisations and donor agencies (such as WHO, GIZ, and UNICEF), nongovernmental organisations (such as the Canadian Institutes of Health and the UK Economic and Social Research Council), government entities including the Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC), and multinational corporations (such as GSK, J&J, Google, InDrive, and Coca-Cola). Hesham is also a lecturer of political economy at the UN Institute for Training and Research, having previously held teaching and research positions at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) University of London, LSE, UCL, and Queen Mary University of London. He holds a PhD and Master of Public Policy from the University of London.
